Is Lord of The Rings a Christian Book? Does this picture look Godly to you? To me he looks like the spawn of Satan. In a few years the sprite will may grow horns!Have you heard of Syncretization my friends? It means 'To reconcile and unite'. This movie attempts to unite Christianity with paganism in order to inure you to the evil of the latter. Using Syncretization, the servants of Satan will aclamitize us to paganism slowly and insideously. Like the proverbial 'frog in the pot', Satan will turn the heat up and we will never know we are being cooked.
The bible makes it plain that any supernatural power aside from God comes from Satan, still the author of this book, suposedly a christian, depicts his characters using magic.
1.That is just Gollum, who was corrupted by evil. He is in fact evil, so he should look evil. On the subject of horns however, Gollum is probably not going to grow those. He's had thousands of years of corruption. He would have had them already.
ReplyDelete2. It is not a trilogy for the purpose of the Holy Trinity reference. J.R.R. Tolkien wanted it to be sold as one book, but his publishers made him release it in several parts.
3. Who says that it's a metaphore for Christ's plan? It was originally made to link the lore of the Hobbit and the Silmarillion together, and the Silmariliion was originally written as a book of English folklore.
4. I'm not about to go worship Eru/Iluvatur just because I read about him creating Ardu, which is not even Earth. And are you implying that Satanism is the same thing as Paganism because it's not. It's two seperate religious faiths.
5. It's not magic, it's sorcery/wizardry, which do not come from the closest thing to Satan in the book (Melkor/Morgoth). It actually stems from knowledge of the natural world, and though it appears supernatural, is actually the work of years of gathering information.
Stupidity such as this hurts me. Sir Robin just destroyed you points, so I can't say much else except kindly do your homework. Unless you're mocking those idiots who decry pure fantasy as "satanic." If that is the case then I commend you.
ReplyDeleteWide is the gate and easy the path that leads a man to his destruction. Satan paints many a pretty picture to draw us in. Don't be fooled, young men. Open your eyes before you burn in the fiery pits of hell.
